Customer Solutions Engineer

The Customer Solutions Engineer role is a senior position within our company and is key to ensuring that the service we provide meets our customers’ individual requirements.  Reporting to the Business Manager – IT and Digital Transformation, you will be part of a team of engineers who provide technical leadership within our organisation.  Core functions of the role are:

  • Evaluating customer’s needs and identifying smart solutions
  • Engaging our in-house experts
  • Setting up processes and ensuring that our operational teams have the necessary parts, equipment and technical documentation
  • Project management and administration to ensure we keep promises to our customers

We are looking for someone with a passion for delivering great service, with a good coverage of the following skills:

  • The ability to identify solutions to complex issues, and provide leadership in gaining resolution both internally and externally.
  • A thorough understanding of electronics principles, telecommunications, networking, and IT systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both with external customers, and at all levels within our business including daily contact with the company owners.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ideally experience with electronics design and manufacturing.

Electronics Technician – Radio

This permanent/full time technical role involves diagnosis, repair and testing of electronic assemblies, including repairing and servicing two-way radio electronics as well as newer and older radio telecommunications hardware.

We are looking for a person with a strong technical background a proven set of capabilities:

  • Radio frequency experience
  • Proven electronic component level diagnostic skills
  • High quality hand-soldering skills
  • Ability to prioritise and produce high work volumes whilst consistently meeting quality standards
  • Preferably an electronics or science tertiary qualification, EAS or EST registration would be an advantage.

Electronics Technician – Networks

Due to business growth we have a permanent/full time vacancy for an Electronics Technician.  This role involves diagnosis, repair and testing of electronic telecommunications hardware assemblies.  The ideal applicant will have a technical background with the following set of capabilities:

  • Proven electronic component- level diagnostic skills
  • High quality hand-soldering skills
  • EAS or EST registration

But the most important thing is that you have a strong interest in electronics!
